VOLLEYBALL BEGINS ROAD TRIP WITH A SWEEP OF HARTNELL

SALINAS-- Beginning a weekend on the road, the Allan Hancock College women's volleyball team swept past Hartnell in three straight games.

Hancock (2-1) defeated the Panthers by scores of, 30-24, 30-22, 30-13. Geraldine Misa'alefua (So., American Samoa) led the team with 10 kills on the night. Melissa L'Esperance (Fr., Arroyo Grande HS) scored six kills and had eight digs. Jessica Quandt (So., Valley Christian Academy) led the team with 23 assists and Brittni Fink (So., Arroyo Grande) added 13 digs.

AHC will compete in the Monterey Peninsula Tournament all day Saturday, Sept. 24.
