SEVERAL WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS INVITED TO PLAY INTERNATIONALLY

SANTA MARIA-- Head women's volleyball coach Heather Allen announced that four of her players from the 2005 team have been invitied to participate in an international travelling volleyball team.

Sophomores Geraldine Misa'alefua (American Samoa), Alyssa Giorgi (Coastal Christian HS), Allison Patton (St. Joseph HS) and Jessica Quandt (Valley Christian HS) have all been invited to participate in the American International Sports Tours. AIST is an organization that provides opportunities for athletes to participate in international competition, while representing the United States.

There are several tours to many different countries planned during the summer months and the players have yet to make decisions on what tour to join.

The Bulldogs made several positive strides in the 2005 season in the very competitive Western State Conference North and helped Coach Allen earn coach of the year honors.
