WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL SCORES VICTORY ON THE ROAD
OXNARD-- A fired up Allan Hancock College women's volleyball team traveled to Oxnard and posted a, 3-0 victory over the host Condors, in a Western State Conference match.
Hancock (10-7, 4-3 WSC North) were ready to play and jumped in front with early leads in games one and two to cruise to victory. After defeating Oxnard, 30-19 and 30-21 in the first two games, AHC was able to allow many spot players extra playing time in game three. The final score in the third game was, 30-28.
Geraldine Misa'alefua (So., American Samoa) led the Bulldogs with 12 kills. Alyssa Giorgi (So., Coastal Christian) added seven kills and scored 11 digs. Allison Patton (So., St. Joseph HS) contributed nine kills and also served four aces. Jessica Quandt (So., Valley Christian) again led the team with 22 assists, while Nicole Curto (Fr., Santa Maria HS) scored seven.
The Bulldogs will have their final home game of the regular season on Friday, Nov. 11 at 7:00 p.m. The opponents will be Moorpark.
