NEXT LEVEL: Anastasia Drolette Commits to Alverno College
MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Allan Hancock College women's basketball forward, Anastasia Drolette, will continue her academic and athletic career at Alverno College next season.
"Alverno's education system is very unique, focusing on hands-on learning and experience instead of a traditional grading system. This aligns with my career and life goals," Drolette shared. "The people there felt so genuinely supportive and loving that I knew it was the right fit for me."
Drolette completed her second season with the Bulldogs in February. The Reedley native ranked fourth on the team in scoring with 6.4 points per game and was second in rebounding after averaging 5.0 boards per contest. She notched a career-high of 15 points in the thrilling conference victory at Cuesta in January.
"My time at AHC allowed me to make the past two years the biggest period of growth. I've been pushed to make hard decisions, get outside of my comfort zone, and I was forced to grow into someone that I needed to be," Drolette added. "The lessons I've learned from my time at Hancock will stick with me for the rest of my life. I'm so grateful for the people who stood by me to support me and push me to this new level."
The Inferno are a Division III member of the NCAA and compete in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.
