CIRINO NAMED ALL-AMERICAN
SANTA MARIA-- Allan Hancock College football running back Andre Cirino was named All-American by the California Community College Football Coaches Association.
Cirino (6-4, 235) from Wagner High School in Staten Island, NY, earned a spot on the team after leading the Bulldogs in rushing and all-purpose yards. He was a unanimous selection to the All-Western State Conference team and made the All-California Region III team for the second year in a row.
The running back was second in the WSC with 1281 rushing yards on only 181 carries, for a 7.1 yards per carry average. He scored 14 touchdowns and led the conference in all-purpose yards, adding 70 yards receiving and 437 return yards to his total.
